Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in data or computer science, informatics,
economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, and two years of experience* in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools.

Preferred Qualifications: The Data Analyst 1 will have experience working to compile established or new data sources and experience working with R and Excel. The incumbent will have experience working in a public health agency during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Duties Description The Data Analyst 1 will aid the Data Analyst 2 in producing actionable data by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. The Data Analyst 1 will explore methods for identifying data patterns and trends in data sources; validate, and test data models to ensure accurate predictions; and draft new functions or applications in programming languages to conduct analyses. The Data Analyst 1 will review plan data submitted through the hospital safe staffing data collection to ensure that it conform with requirements.
