Duties Description •Quality Improvement monitors the agency to ensure that the Health and Safety of the individuals we provide services for is not compromised.
•The incumbent will be a member of this department. They will provide technical assistance to State Operations regarding compliance with all State and Federal regulations for the programs we operate and will ensure the existence and effectiveness of internal controls related to operations.
•The incumbent will serve as the Quality Management Coordinator and will be working with State Operations prior to and during an audit.
•The incumbent will be responsible for the development of the plans of corrective action, monitoring the plans of corrective action and evidence of their completion.
•In addition, the incumbent will provide a summary and analysis of the audits over the year to Administration.
•The incumbent will work with State Operations to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
•The incumbent will serve as the voluntary agency Family Care Provider Coordinator and will be responsible to liaison with the voluntary Family Care agencies to ensure regulatory compliance as it relates to family care and ensure that certifications are completed within the time frame.
•The incumbent will, when the need arises, assist with the Medicaid Compliance Liaison and will be identified as the backup Medicaid Compliance Liaison. In addition, the incumbent will assist with Human Rights Committee, will assist with Incident Review, investigations and any other compliance related duties as needed.
•The incumbent will assist in providing ongoing training to new employees and current employees on State and Federal regulations and agency policies as the need arises.
