Minimum Qualifications Open to individuals with two years of experience in computer programming
The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree including or supplemented by 15 credit hours in computer science with at least 9 credit hours in programming languages.
• Bachelor’s degree one year of the experience in the following computer related areas: computer programming; business/systems analysis; program design; or program testing.
• 60 college semester credit hours including at least 15 credit hours in computer science courses and one year of experience in the following computer related areas: computer programming; business/systems analysis; program design; or program testing.

Duties Description Under the direction of the Information Technology Specialist 3, SG-23, the Project Assistant manages the configuration and development of various automation projects. This position will complete the full development lifecycle including design, creation, testing, and maintenance of automation solutions. RPA work is becoming essential to removing repetitive tasks throughout various systems within ITS and client agencies.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining existing automation that is in place, including VOIP new user associations.
• Developing automation solutions to remove manual steps from systems including HR, MEDIP (employee badging), LATS, SLMS, and various work generated by Service Requests from ITSM.
• Maintain and develop OGS document automation that is to take place Q2 2024
• Engage with agencies to identify automation opportunities
• Assist current RPA developers in completing automation that is currently underway

Additional Comments Fingerprinting and background check are required for employment with ITS.
