Minimum Qualifications This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS)* and applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this position:

Six years of experience*, including two at a supervisory level, in at least two of the following office services: property or space management, warehouse and inventory operations, purchasing, fleet or parking management, telecommunications, mail room operations, printing, or records management and retention.

*An associate degree can substitute for two years of specialized experience; a bachelor’s degree can substitute for four years of experience; a master’s degree in a related field can substitute for five years of experience; and a doctorate in a related field can substitute for six years of experience.

Applicants may be appointed to this position if currently reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title OR are a current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 17 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description • Responsible for the daily administration, supervision, and management of all facility locations and positions assigned to OGS Central Printing.
• Oversee maintenance and contracts of production equipment and vehicles.
• Ensure all OGS Print Shops meet Health and Safety regulations and codes.
• Provide print shop production records and fiscal requirements for budget purposes.
• Assist with processing high-volume requests by operating various printing and mail equipment.
• Assist with program database and equipment replacement projects.
• Proficiently utilize program specific software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Pro.
• Interact with colleagues, customers, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Perform the full range and scope of supervisory responsibilities.
• Perform tasks in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for the completion of print jobs on schedule and provides cost estimates and quotes for customers and vendors upon request.

Operational Needs:
• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum 45 pounds.
• Ability to bend, lift, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• Comply with established safety procedures.
