Minimum Qualifications Two years of professional experience working in an office environment with relevant skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excellent writing skill; Efficient organizational skills; Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment & multi-task; Have the skills to motivate and interact effectively with a wide variety of people of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds and political views.
Duties Description Schedule Member's appointments; Manage office items, timelines & office organization; Represent and staff the Member at community meetings and events; Engage with government agencies, authorities and other elected officials; Act as liaison with specific groups; Meet with constituents; draft correspondence to constituents and provide follow-up; advise Member on pending community events; Perform various functions related to mail; Produce typewritten/Word processed documents; Perform admin functions for the office regarding supplies, memo's and delivery of documents; Write, edit and review correspondence, newsletters and other mailings; Support office operations and community events.
Additional Comments Flexible hours from January to June might be necessary.
