Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or general business or other related experience; or an Associate’s degree + two (2) years of accounting or finance or general business or other related experience.
Duties Description The duties and responsibilities of the Investigative Auditor in the Special Projects Unit, as assigned by and through the Deputy Director and Supervising Investigative Auditor, are as follows:
1. Conduct complex audits and reviews of campaign finance filings by political committees and candidates.
2. Conduct bank reconciliations and audit the books and records of political committees and candidates as may be necessary to effectuate a complete and thorough assessment of eligibility with program rules, regulations, statutes, and board opinions and policies.
3. Conduct special projects in the analysis of program data, including reviews for over contributions. Such projects shall include an analysis and application of appropriate Rules, Regulations, statutes, and Board Opinions and policies, and all correspondence and communications necessary to effectively complete these projects.
4. Work closely with the PCFB enforcement division to conduct special audits and analysis of data.
5. Assist on all tasks and matters as may reasonably be assigned by and through senior staff
