Duties Description Illustrative duties and responsibilities:
1. Participate in the design, development and creation of appropriate curriculum and instructional materials, including reference and training manuals, for any programs related to Public Campaign Finance program, including but not limited to certification, disclosure, compliance, auditing and enforcement.
2. Perform the review and revision, as may be necessary, of all existing instructional and support materials.
3. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of the business rules and processes and procedures of the PCFB, as well as the design and creation of any related PCFB forms and certifications.
4. Participate in the development and implementation of video and audio training sessions on Public Campaign Finance for dissemination and distribution to candidates, treasurers, political committees, and other interested members of the public.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of a series of web-based tutorials and webinars regarding the PCFB program, including participation by candidates and committees, and compliance with any related programmatic and legal requirements of the PCFB.
6. Participate in the coordination, scheduling, and conducting of a series of Public Campaign Finance training seminars throughout New York State, as may be determined and implemented. The locations of any seminars implemented in any given year shall ensure that the seminars are available on a diverse geographic scope around New York State and on a reasonable rotating basis.
7. Coordinate with the Compliance and PIO Units to keep the PCFB and SBOE website updated and accessible with regards to Public Campaign Finance related materials and information.
8. Coordinate with the PIO Unit to keep social media posting for the PCFB updated, as applicable.
9. Participate in the development, testing, updating, and implementation of related PCFB software applications.
10. Assist candidates, treasurers and other individuals requiring more intensive and time-consuming assistance on related PCFB issues, as may be assigned.
11. Perform other tasks in support of the PCFB as may be assigned.
12. Provide training to new PCFB and SBOE staff.
13. Perform other tasks and matters as may reasonably be assigned by and through PCFB Counsel.
14. All the above-related tasks and duties shall also be provided in conjunction with the Compliance Unit.
Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of related experience in training or other related experience; or an Associate degree plus four (4) years of related experience in training or other related experience; or at least six (6) years of related experience in training or other related experience.
