Duties Description Provide skilled care to the Veterans who reside at the Home, such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, feeding, general hygiene, transfer of residents, care of ostomies, colostomy & ileostomy, maintenance of individual range of motion to prevent contractures, recognize and report abnormal signs and symptoms of common conditions/diseases, measure and record fluid intake, assist health care team in treatments and observations, along with all aspects of daily living care.
Minimum Qualifications Current NY certification as a Nursing Assistant
Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health St. Albans' employees with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Nursing Assistant Certified, Grade 8.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Long-Term Care Facility
Additional Comments Posted salary range includes statutory hiring rate at step 4 and job rate for CSEA Grade 8 ($45,735 to $49,783), plus an additional geographic pay differential of $6,000 and downstate adjustment of $4,000 and $575.00 evening/night Shift Differential, if applicable.
