Duties Description Under the direction of the Food Service Worker 2, the Food Service Worker 1 is responsible for preparing and serving meals to residents, ensuring that residents on special diets receive the proper food for their condition, cleaning the dining area after each meal, and cleaning the kitchen with special attention to cleanliness and sterility.
Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this class.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a kitchen doing a variety of tasks. Someone who is a team player and willing to go above and beyond.
Additional Comments Must be able to swing to all other shifts as needed.
Will be scheduled a 12-hour day on weekend scheduled.
Ability to work extra time is a requirement.
Will be working between 20 - 40 hours per week depending on need.
One temporary, per-diem Food Service Worker 1.
Salary is non-statuary (NS) and is equivalent to a salary Grade 5.
