Duties Description This position is located within the Project Management Unit within the Division of State Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This position is responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to the Project Management Unit, which is responsible for tracking over 25 ongoing EMS initiatives, developing project management infrastructure, and data reporting obligations. Project Support - 60%
Tracking project timelines, deliverables, and documentation using Project Management software (MS Excel, Word, Project, and SharePoint). Preparation of biweekly project management governance board meeting materials, agendas, and minutes. Collecting and organizing program data for internal dashboards. Assisting in process improvement initiatives, including workflow mapping and data validation.
Stakeholder Engagement - 20%
Supporting communication with contractors, internal stakeholders, and other agencies. General administrative tasks such as scheduling and file management. Other duties as assigned - 20%
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate college student. Documentation of current matriculation and enrollment in the Spring 2026 semester must be submitted with your resume.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project)
• Familiarity with Project Management or Data Visualization tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Foundational knowledge of project management principles, public health systems, or emergency medical services
• Experience with data entry, reporting, or administrative support tasks in an office or academic setting

Additional Comments Temporary, part-time, non-competitive. Salary determined by academic level. Hours worked and schedule are flexible and dependent upon assignment. Must maintain matriculated student status to retain employment.
