Duties Description •Oversee all aspects of executive security and protection leadership, including scheduling logistical arrangements and advance work for travel, events, and meetings.
•Conduct thorough risk assessments for travel itineraries, events, and physical locations, factoring in scheduling constraints and potential delays.
•Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and protocols for diverse scenarios, incorporating timeframes and scheduling considerations.
•Conduct security audits and schedule and oversee improvements to existing procedures and protocols.
•Develop and schedule secure transportation logistics for executive leadership, including route planning and contingency measures, accounting for travel time and potential disruptions.
•Adapt to diverse transportation situations while prioritizing security protocols and discretion, planning for potential scenarios and adjustments.
•Conduct advance security briefings for leadership on potential risks and vulnerabilities during travel, incorporating schedule-specific elements.
•Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to security personnel, providing expert guidance on complex security protocols, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
•Foster a collaborative learning environment, sharing knowledge and best practices while encouraging open communication and continuous improvement within the existing security team.
•Remain calm and collected in high-pressure situations involving travel and security incidents, demonstrating adaptability and quick decision-making.
•Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality for sensitive information related to leadership and operations.
•Build trust and rapport with leadership, colleagues, and external stakeholders through effective communication, scheduling regular meetings and briefings as needed.
•Foster collaboration across departments to ensure a holistic and integrated security posture, planning joint initiatives and sharing information with relevant teams.
•Stay abreast of advances in security technology and best practices through continuous learning, scheduling time for professional development activities.
•Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and act decisively in high-pressure situations, remaining calm and collected while considering all available options and time constraints.

Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications Seven years of relevant experience*

*Substitutions: associate’s degree may substitute for two years of the experience; bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of the experience; master’s degree or J.D. may substitute for five years of the experience; Ph.D. may substitute for six years of the experience. Degrees must be in a field related to the duties to qualify for substitution.

Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or out-stationed assignments.
