Duties Description Council Operations Administrative Support – 60%
• Preparing for Council Meetings by assisting with document preparation, agenda review, and coordination of materials.
• Provide on-site support at meetings, as directed by supervisor and Division Leadership.
• Maintain and audit internal membership records, listservs, and databases
• Participate in the council vetting process. Including preparing packages for signature, overseeing tracking, and acting as a liaison with the Department's Division of Council Operations.
Engage with stakeholders – 20%
• Engage in virtual and in-person meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including Department of Health staff and Council Members
Other duties as assigned – 20%
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate college student. Documentation of current matriculation and enrollment in the current semester must be submitted with your resume.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread and format documents
• Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information
• Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to a team
• Ability to learn new software, including databases and tracking systems
• Great time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications

Additional Comments Temporary, part-time, non-competitive. Salary determined by academic level. 20 hours per week during the academic year is required, schedule is flexible. Must maintain matriculated student status to retain employment.
