Duties Description The IES North Bailey Site supervisor is responsible for facilitating the mission of Integrated Employment Services (IES) by providing person-centered services and supports that develop, improve and maintain employability skills. The goal of IES is to assist each individual to reach their highest level of independence in the least restrictive work environment. Services are community-based across WNY in volunteer locations, classroom settings, and employment situations at businesses.
Selected candidate will work with the Habilitation Specialist 2 to provide direct supervision of assigned staff in the provision of program services.

Position Specific Duties:
Responsibilities include coordination of staffing, communication with treatment teams, arranging for transportation, liaison with employers/volunteer agencies, Medicaid compliance. Attend Life Plan meetings and assist with the development of Staff Action Plans. Review billing documentation and facilitate timely corrections.

Candidate will be knowledgeable in the Transformation Agenda, regulations, Audit protocols, ADMs, Policies and IES internal controls for CPV and SEMP in order to complete initial review of billing documentation. Train Job Coaches to complete corrections and followed. Asset to assist Job Coaches with computer skills.
Supervision of Job Coaches including TIMES, SUR, evaluations, daily staffing, duty assignments, technical assistance and assisting with mandates as needed.

Contribute to the IES leadership team at department meetings, planning sessions, and vocational trainings. Participate in continuous improvement workgroup and work with other IES Supervisors to correct identified vulnerabilities.

Ensuring the operation of the site is in accordance with all applicable regulations, operating procedures, and individual safeguard plans.

Contribute to training curriculums, activities and experiences for individuals to prepare for successful transition from volunteering to employment. Model and promote soft skills and work related etiquette. Provide Job Coaching in the community as needed.

Liaison with CPV/SEMP Sites and Residential Teams.

Other duties as assigned to meet operational needs including direct service provision.

Travel required to alternate IES Sites, community placements and Job Sites.

Additional duties may include:
Oversight of a program location with responsibility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the areas of Day Habilitation, fiscal responsibility, and incident management.
They should possess excellent communication, writing and organizational skills and be able to work independently.
Review of the monthly summary notes for each individual ensuring all required components are included to meet the Medicaid billing requirements.
Train day program staff on – the composition of monthly summary notes as needed and the individual’s Safeguard Summary Plans to always ensure health and safety.
Monitor implementation of Safeguard Summary Plans, Day Program Staff Action Plans and Support and Risk Accountability Plans. Review and revising as needed to ensure that plans continue to reflect the individual’s abilities and need for protective oversight and necessary supports.
Review of Clinic Referrals for PT, OT, Nutrition, Speech, Psychology and other Article 16 services.
Participate with other team members in a variety of individual, team and continuous improvement meetings and forums as scheduled to promote comprehensive and individualized services.
Interact with families, Care Coordinators, and other service providers as needed.
Participate in Adjunct tasks as assigned.
May at times be the lead clinical person in an assigned room responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Day Hab room.
They will be responsible for scheduling outings, Day Hab paperwork, ensuring the safety and welfare of the individuals, completing Day Hab billing and documents in a timely manner and engaging individuals in activities and work-related activities. Selected person will at times provide supervisory coverage of the building and assist with transportation concerns.
Completion of other assigned tasks based on the operational needs of the site location.

*For the purpose of these qualifications, a degree in a human service field includes the professional disciplines of audiology, community mental health, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling, social work, speech/language pathology and therapeutic recreation (including concentrations in art, creative art, dance, drama, music, or physical education.)
