Duties Description Assist fish culturists in daily fish care, moving fish, sampling fish and assisting in loading trucks. Some stocking of fish may be included.
Assist in public outreach and communicate with public visiting the hatchery.
Lawn care such as: string trimming, lawn mowing and other ground maintenance.
General maintenance around facility; assist in projects that may include carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and minor electrical work. As well as maintain equipment.
Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this position. Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automotive and construction equipment.
Additional Comments Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.
Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain.
Must be able to work in remote areas.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
