Duties Description The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide skilled care to the veterans and their dependents who reside at our facility, such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, feeding, general hygiene, transferring residents, care of ostomies, colostomy & ileostomy, maintenance of individual range of motion to prevent contractures, recognizing and reporting abnormal signs and symptoms of common conditions/diseases, measuring and recording fluid intake, and assisting the health care team in treatments and observations, along with all aspects of daily living care.
Minimum Qualifications Current New York Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health Veterans Home at Montrose employee with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Nursing Assistant Certified, Grade 8.
Additional Comments All Shift Available.
Salary includes Annual Downstate Adjustment of $4,000.00, geographic differential of $6,000.00 and $575.00 evening/night Shift Differential, if applicable.
