Duties Description Reporting to the Executive Deputy CIO, the Chief of Staff will play a critical role in the overall management of ITS activities, strategic planning, and the implementation of key initiatives. The Chief of Staff will act as a key advisor to senior executive leadership, ensuring effective communication and coordination across various departments and with external stakeholders.
· Provide executive-level assistance in the overall management of ITS activities, including planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of executive and policy-related activities in support of various projects and initiatives.
· Supervise assigned staff, including the Deputy Commissioners for Technology, planning work, setting priorities, assigning tasks, observing performance, providing feedback, resolving complaints, and recommending personnel actions.
· Contribute to strategic and operational planning, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
· Advise senior leadership on appropriate tools and methods for integrating departmental work into the overall ITS operations.
· Oversee and direct data management and analytics initiatives, ensuring the effective design and implementation of enterprise-wide data management, business intelligence, and advanced analytics projects or programs with organization-wide stakeholders.
· Communicate and track key performance metrics across departments, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
· Plan, direct, coordinate, and implement information services and functions, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
· Assess and evaluate program goals and objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing reform initiatives to reduce costs and meet customer requirements.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with program officials and corporate entities, representing the organization within external agencies and organizations as needed.
· Manage and coordinate special projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; and
• Eight years of experience in strategic planning and/or organizational operations – at least five of those years must be in information technology; and
• Five years of progressive experience managing large IT focused organizations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
