Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications for Non-Competitive Appointment:

Either 1. seven years of experience marketing institutional, industrial, or commercial products;

Or 2. an associate’s degree and five years of qualifying experience;

Or 3. a bachelor’s degree and three years of qualifying experience.

Additional Comments Corcraft is the “brand name” for the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision’s Correctional Industries Program. Industries uses manufacturing as a component of the Department’s overall reentry program, which is designed to teach inmates work ethic and skills. The program puts inmates’ time to good use inside and outside prison. Corcraft uses a business model to guide decisions and balance costs, market prices and other demands from both the correctional system and outside customers. Corcraft employs roughly 280 civilian staff and 1,800 inmates across twenty-six (26) locations throughout New York State.
