Minimum Qualifications Must be a licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State and must have one year of full time RN post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Conduct health assessments; diagnose and treat an individuals responses to actual, potential, or diagnosed health problems through the provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being; and execute medical regimens prescribed by a licensed health care provider. Nurses also serve on interdisciplinary health care teams and health related committees to plan and implement health care. Nurse 2s supervise nursing care activities, including the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of nursing care plans; instruct nurses and direct care staff to ensure quality individual care; and train and develop staff.
