Minimum Qualifications Must be a New York State employee with one year as an Office Assistant 1; or one year of permanent service in a clerical or keyboarding title allocated to grade 5 or higher.
Duties Description Responsible for all purchasing aspects for facility including credit card orders, entering orders in computerized financial system. Credit card reconciliation, follow up on outstanding orders and incorrect shipping issues via phone calls to vendors. Must learn New York State purchasing guidelines, directives and policies. Will be working with agency contracts, New York State centralized contracts, MWBE vendors.
