Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered as a Physician Assistant by the NYS Education Department or possess a limited permit to practice as a Physician Assistant in NYS. If appointed with a limited permit, the candidate has one year from the date of their permit was issued to obtain their license.
Duties Description Screen patients/residents to determine need for medical attention, including initial screening for sick call; perform routine physicals; assist medical staff in caring for patients; prepares and completes records; forms and reports, including paperwork necessary to comply with State and Federal regulatory.
