Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Transfer eligible titles include but may not be limited to: Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 Calculations, Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding.
Duties Description The incumbent will provide essential support for the Albany District Adjudication and Conciliation units by performing examining work for Centralized Conciliation. Duties include but are not limited to: validating proposed decisions work requests, distributing conciliation work requests, handling phone inquiries, keyboarding reserved and proposed decisions, assigning work under the direction of Adjudication’s Senior Examiner. The incumbent will perform necessary telephone outreach to outside parties on behalf of the Senior Attorneys under the direction of the Senior Examiner. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing in-house DVD CLE library for the Albany Conciliation staff, tracking and distributing probation and performance reports for conciliation staff, performing clerical work for the Director of Conciliation and providing coverage for the Adjudication and Conciliation departments.
