Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Transfer eligible titles include but may not be limited to: Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 Calculations, Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding.
Duties Description Incumbent of this position is responsible for having a basic understanding of WCB procedures and policies. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: greet persons arriving at Customer Service Center and provide assistance;; utilize knowledge of the WC Law, rules and Zone procedure to assist claimants and attorneys with accessing CIS/computer applications; enter appearances on daily calendar; assist with Voter Registration; assist with coordination of hearing process by providing support for Judges and Conciliators; maintain physical evidence; operate video conferencing equipment; maintain equipment; provide photocopies and collect copy fees; and ensure Customer Service areas are accessible and free of hazards. Travel required between Buffalo and Jamestown.
