Minimum Qualifications Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
•At least one-year customer service/student support service experience
•Strong attention to detail, and time management skills
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate information clearly and concisely
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Available to work some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
•SUNY or Higher Education financial aid experience
•Ellucian Banner experience
Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking and engaging Financial Aid Assistant to join the Office of Student Financial Services. The Financial Aid Assistant position is an entry-level professional position. The successful candidate will counsel prospective and current students and parents about the financial aid application, policies, procedures and availability of aid to meet their financial need; as well as advise aid recipients on academic progress requirements associated with financial aid.

•Salary: $41,815
•SL-2
•Work Schedule: Monday through Friday days, with occasional evenings and weekend work. Occasional travel to area high schools and conferences will be required.
