Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service Eligible List, Professional Careers Opportunity (PCO) or OPWDD’s Central Office Public Administration Traineeship Transition (PATT). Appointment will be made at the traineeship level.
Candidates must have permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is an integral part of the division’s newly created Research and Contract Management Unit, whose mission is to coordinate/develop cross-system IT infrastructures, security, and associated agreements to support the transition to Managed Care. Unit responsibilities also include the management of associated contracts necessary for this development.
Under the Unit manager, the incumbent will assist in coordination of data agreements, technical IT Design for information exchange, programmatic data integrity, programmatic IT development and oversight, as well as division-wide contract management (including stakeholder management and communication).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the coordination of organizational readiness and developing delivery system capacity for upcoming strategic phases including the Children’s Transition Waiver and Managed Care.
• Supporting the facilitation of the I/DD assessment tool uptake and exchange, I/DD assessment development in the New York’s Uniform Assessment System and supporting OPWDD’s Coordinated Assessment System development as needed.
• Work closely with Waiver Unit staff to leverage federal managed care models.
• Assist in the management of division contracts, including coordination of meetings and manage timely acceptance of deliverables.
• Coordinate Core Team cross-division meeting, assisting in managing timely acceptance of deliverables.
