Minimum Qualifications Must have license to practice medicine in New York State, degree as medical doctor, Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, completion of one year post graduation training and have had two years of subsequent medical experience.

Duties Description Evaluation and treatment of patients daily. Provision of emergency services 24 hrs daily, as scheduled. Care of Special Housing Unit patients. Manage and supervise Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistants to ensure that they provide professional and adequate health care at all times. Maintenance & Improvement of knowledge & skills required for practice of correctional system medicine. Compliance with infection control standard universal precautions. Provide surgery for minor procedures for the Hub. Compliance with time & attendance standards of IPP (Institutional Practice Plan )
