Minimum Qualifications The selected attorneys will handle all phases of litigation from commencement through trial. Trial experience is preferred and the ability to manage a large caseload is essential. Superior writing, analytical and organizational skills are required. Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years of litigation experience.

Applicants must reside in (or intend to soon become a resident of) New York State and be admitted to practice law in New York State. In addition, the Public Officers Law requires that attorneys in the Office be citizens of the United States. Furthermore, for this position, applicants either must be admitted to practice or eligible for admission to practice in the Southern District of New York. A two (2) year commitment upon being hired is a condition of employment.

Duties Description The New York State Office of the Attorney General is seeking experienced litigators to work in its Westchester Regional Office. The Regional Office represents the State, and its agencies and officers in a wide range of state and federal court litigation.
