Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.

Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct care and practical nursing to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential and/or program setting; assist and inspire individuals in their care to attend to their personal daily living needs and to further develop those vocational, nutritional, social, and personal skills necessary to maintain or achieve the highest possible level of independence in the least restrictive environment. Perform other duties as assigned. LPNs may be pulled to meet the needs of the individuals served.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Function in the role of a Licensed Practical Nurse within the treatment team.
