Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

•Bachelor degree from an accredited institution, or internationally recognized accrediting organization in a computing discipline.
•5+ years of progressively challenging work experience in a related field.
•Ability to extract and compile data from written sources, individuals, colleagues, other institutions, and vendors.
•Ability to read technical literature, write technical documentation, and fill out complex forms.
•Must be able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.
•Must be able to lead, teach, and guide staff of lower title classifications.
•Must be able to seek assistance from peers, supervisors, vendors, and alternative sources.
•Must be able to perform work that requires considerable physical effort with a high degree of finger and hand dexterity.
•Extensive experience with the MS Windows operating system family.

Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging Senior Systems Administrator to the join the Office of Computer Information Systems (CIS). The Senior Systems Administrator will be the technical lead for the Infrastructure Services business unit within CIS responsible for managing over 200 servers and 1200 client endpoints. The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for daily maintenance of the Data Center, Servers, Storage Area Network, Data Backups, and Server System.

This position will supervise a System Administrator, and act as a mentor and technical resource to other positions within CIS.

Principal responsibilities include:
•Maintaining the campus Data Centers, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
•Administering Backups Systems, Storage Area Networks (SANs), VMWare virtualization infrastructure, and Operating Systems for campus-wide servers.
•Managing Single Sign-on technology (ADFS).
•Providing technical leadership to Systems Administrator and Desktop Administrator.
