Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State and must have one year of full time RN post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Provide professional nursing services to the inmate population of a correctional facility, provide nursing interventions and theory documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. Participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team.
Additional Comments Shifts will be based on facility needs. Pay will include an $8,000 geographic pay differential and may include a $2,000/$3,000 shift pay differential, if eligible and depending on the shift.
