Salary RangeFrom $50722 to $64557 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State and must have one year of full time RN post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Provide professional nursing services to the inmate population of a correctional facility, provide nursing interventions and theory documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. Participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team.
Additional Comments Shifts will be based rotating based on facility needs and can include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and can include any day of the week. Pay will include an $8,000 geographic pay differential and may include a $2,000/$3,000 shift pay differential, if eligible and depending on the shift.
There are six full-time Nurse 2 vacancies, day and night shifts.
