Minimum Qualifications Four years of full time experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment; or an Associates degree in electrical technology, or successful completion of a two year technical processional certificate program in the electronics field may be substituted for two years of the required experience; or graduation from a high school technical electronics education program recognized by the New York State Education Department as meeting the standards for technical education ,may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Duties Description Installs, repairs and maintains a wide variety of electronic systems and equipment such as electric office equipment, radio equipment, fire alarms and closed circuit television systems; control equipment, security systems and intrusion surveillance equipment; public address systems, intercommunications units and antenna systems; and radiological monitoring equipment in accordance with manufactures specifications.
