Minimum Qualifications Must possess a valid New York State license to practice as a registered professional nurse plus a minimum of one year post license clinical nursing experience.

Duties Description Administer medication to individuals and monitor individuals for reactions/side effects. Record individuals medical information and vital signs. Consult and coordinatoe with healthcare team members to assess, plan, imple,ment or evaluate individual care plans. Monitor all aspects of an individuals care, first aid, immiunizations or assistance in convalescence or rehabilitation, Perform, coordinate, direct and provide nursing care on a facility unit/units, in clinics or infirmaries. May finction as a unit supervisor evening/night shifts. Prepare daily time and work schedules. Ensure inventory standards for medicines, solutions, supplies and equipment are maintained. Account for the issuance of controlled drugs and narcotics, inventory such as drugs on each shift worked. Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records. Perform clinical rounds on wards.
