Salary RangeFrom $74829 to $93491 Annually
Minimum Qualifications One to three years of experience as a practicing attorney. Member of the New York State Bar.
Litigation (depositions, trials and/or appellate) experience preferred. Former prosecutorial experience highly desired. Valid driver’s license.
Duties Description Reports to the Deputy Administrator; conducts investigations of complaints as assigned; interviews witnesses, drafts reports of investigations to Commission; conducts legal research; drafts formal charges of misconduct, memoranda of law, motions, briefs and other legal documents; prepares and conducts trials and drafts briefs for hearing officers and the Commission and appears for oral argument before the Commission.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills required.
