Salary RangeFrom $109956 to $138763 Annually
Minimum Qualifications At least 12 years of experience as a practicing attorney. New York State Bar admission.
Litigation experience (depositions, trials and/or appellate) required. Former prosecutorial experience highly desired.
Duties Description Reports to the Deputy Administrator; conducts investigations of complaints as assigned; interviews witnesses, drafts reports of investigations to Commission; conducts legal research; drafts formal charges of misconduct, memoranda of law, motions, briefs and other legal documents; prepares and conducts trials and drafts briefs for hearing officers and the Commission and appears for oral argument before the Commission.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills required.
Additional Comments Starting salary will depend on experience. Additional $3,026 location pay.
