Minimum Qualifications
Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled journey-level Electrician which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services

Duties Description • Perform all phases of electrical installation/construction. Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of three-phase 120v/208v and 277v/480v electrical systems.
• Perform skilled and semi-skilled activities in other trades to fulfill maintenance and construction project requirements.
• Will be required to effectively communicate with supervisors and other trades workers, both when receiving and providing direction.
• Retrieve daily assignments and track accountable hours using the AiM work management system.
• Submit accurate and proper documentation in a timely manner

Additional Comments Operational Needs:
• Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New York State motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Asbestos certification required within 90 days of appointment as well as compliance with all related PESH/OSHA regulations.
• Able to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, platform lifts, boom lifts.
• Able to operate a variety of forklifts (OSHA certification provided after appointment).
• Able to lift minimum of 80 lbs.
• Able to read; interpret blueprints, schematic designs and circuit diagrams.
• Able to interpret National Electrical Codes (NEC).
• Able to work independently and perform duties at the journeyman level.
