Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State AND have one year of post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
OR
Must be active and reachable on the Civil Service Eligible List for Nurse 2.
Duties Description Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Telephone triage including determining the urgency of situation and directing individual/employee to appropriate level of care.
•Provide nursing services for homes adjacent to campus.
•Provide assessment and treatment for Respite home.
•Communicate with Medical Doctor on Call, Administrator
on Call, staff, team, family, etc. for emergent situations.
•Provides adequate nursing assessment/supervision of direct care competency regarding specific nursing delegated procedures, including medication administration.
Additional Comments •Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory rate for PS&T Grade 16 ($50,722) and Geographic Pay Differential ($8,000). Geographic Pay Differential is added to the job rate ($64,557) for the PS&T Grade 16. Additional compensation may apply based on shift assignment.
