Minimum Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
• Candidates must have a reachable score on the Nurse 1 list OR
• Be a current NYS employee and have a current permanent appointment with 1 year of service as a Nurse 1, or in a title eligible to transfer to Nurse 1 OR
• Appointment as a Nurse 1 at UAlbany with less than 1 year of service (remainder of probationary period to be completed in new assignment) OR
• Be a former NYS employee eligible for reinstatement to the title of Nurse 1

There is no written test and no test date is involved. The NYS-APP IS YOUR TEST. Do NOT send resumes. Your completed NYS-APP will be the only basis for rating your educational background, relevant certification(s) and experience. Failure to complete the NYS-APP may result in disqualification.

Duties Description These two contingent/permanent 9 month positions have summers off without pay.
Ability to instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention; and develop health improvement programs preferred
