Minimum Qualifications One year satisfactory hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers and/or auxiliary equipment of HVAC in commercial, industrial or institutional facilities and a high school diploma/GED and successful completion of four trades courses. Any combo of the following trades may be substituted for one year of hands-on experience. Each trades course must include a minimum of 30-45 class/lab hours in order to be considered qualifying electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boiler operation and maintenance. Successful completion of 12 college semester credits in any combination of the following may be substituted for one year hands-on experience: HVAC, ventilation, electrical circuits, fluid mechanics, tech. commun., thermal dynamics, industrial instrumentation control. environmental air quality, physics, utility refrigeration, mechanics, blueprint reading, sketching, boiler seam systems, industrial electricity, eclectic utility system plant operations and maintenance industrial safety.
Duties Description Maintain, observe temperature and pressure of boiler and all related pump equipment. Assigned to a clean-up area. All above duties will be under the supervision of the PUE 1.
