Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Nurse 2 Candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State AND have one year of post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
Nurse 1 Candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State.

*After 1 year of permanent service as a Nurse 1 (SG 14) an advance to Nurse 2 (SG 16) will be made.

Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Nurses provide professional nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Services may include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. They also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team.
T PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform Nurse 1 or Nurse 2 duties and act as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Participate in Nurse-On-Call program/triage as trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned, details to be discussed during interview.

Additional Comments SALARY: $52,455 – $65,028 – Grade 14
$57,722 – $71,557 – Grade 16
“Please note that starting salary for these titles reflects the geographic pay differential. $52,455 – $65,028 - Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 14 ($45,455), and Geographic Differential ($7,000). Geographic Differential added to the job rate ($58,028) for the PS&T Grade 14.
Grade 16 - $57,722 - $71,557 - Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 16 ($50,722), and Geographic Differential ($7,000). Geographic Differential added to the job rate ($64,557) for the PS&T Grade 16.”
