Minimum Qualifications Six years of full-time experience in two or more of the following activities: administering, monitoring or evaluating*** human services programs for economically or socially disadvantaged individuals and families in areas such as health, nutrition, housing, economic development or education. Degrees in business; business or public administration; education; human services; nutrition; psychology; public or non-profit management; social work’ or sociology may substitute for the full-time experience as follows: associate’s, two years; bachelor’s four years; and master’s, five years.
***Administering, monitoring or evaluating human services programs is defined as having responsibility for directing, organizing, AND controlling the program and/or supervising the professional staff who directly implement the program.
NON-QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE: Experience providing direct care to individuals, case work, child protective services or support, determining eligibility benefits for public assistance, social work, counseling, community service worker/liaison, fraud investigator, family support advocate, nurse, teacher, youth aide, psychologist, and welfare or Medicaid examiner/coordinator are NOT considered qualifying experience. This list is not all inclusive.
Duties Description The Community Services Program Analyst 1 will be assigned to the central office and will assist with various support activities for the Division in the following areas: data collection and analysis, reporting and analysis, development of the Division’s Management Plan, and various other administrative activities, manuals preparation, policy and legislative reviews, and public information. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Excel & Word and have experience with federal regulations, specifically 2 CFR 200 (Super Circular), as well as experience in areas related to finance, accounting or contracting responsibilities.
Additional Comments For a provisional pending examination appointment, the incumbent of the position will be required to take a written examination for Community Services Program Analyst 1 and be reachable for appointment from the newly established eligible list.
