Duties Description The Health Program Administrators (HPA) will be part of the Bureau of Immunization’s Vaccine Program. Once a vaccine against the circulating pandemic virus strain becomes available, its distribution and delivery to providers enrolled in the Vaccine Program will be a major focus of pandemic response effort. The HPAs will be involved with outreach activities, including reviewing health care provider enrollment requests for completeness and identifying patient population level for each (to plan for allocation); tracking provider enrollment to identify low access areas in need of outreach; promoting and facilitating access to the NYSDOH Health Commerce System (HCS) and the New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS) to obtain vaccine, including establishing new accounts; assisting with the preparation of outreach communications; participating in meetings, committees and trainings, as requested; and other dues as assigned.
Additional Comments Contingent-Permanent, full-time. Occasional travel to locations that may not be served by public transportation is required.
