Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC is preferred but not necessary.

Duties Description Assists higher-level staff in performing routine and unskilled work such as cleaning and disinfecting the 3 occupied buildings at the Stamford facility. Cleaning duties include cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, washing windows and light dusting. Disinfecting will be required three times a day. Duties may also include mowing and trimming of grounds, landscaping, painting and staining.

Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain and work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with a duration through 3/31/22. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to date listed. Actual work schedule, duties, and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
