Salary RangeFrom $46983 to $57231 Annually
Minimum Qualifications NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service as a Program Aide, G-13 or a current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title allocated to G-11 or higher, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and detail oriented.
Duties Description The Program Aide will provide support to the Asbestos Safety Training Program to aid in the regulatory oversight of New York State accredited asbestos safety training providers. This includes assisting with review of information submitted to the program by providers to ensure compliance with regulations, ensuring that accurate information is maintained in the program database and tracking system, prepare and review reports on a variety of programmatic oversight functions to identify deficiencies and problems, and communicate deficiencies with providers. The incumbent will also be a point of contact for asbestos safety training providers and act a liaison to professional staff.
