Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must currently be on the Information Technology Specialist 2 eligible list OR be eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
52.6 Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent, competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to salary grade 16 or higher.
Duties Description · Provide customer support for Microsoft Outlook, Calendaring and Teams.
· Create and maintain shared mailboxes, distribution lists, Office 365 groups, Teams and SharePoint sites.
· Provide support assistance to any project involving an Office 365 product.
· Assist customers with all Office 365 applications including, but not limited to: Planner, Forms, Lists, Bookings, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
· Assist on requests filed by Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
· Prepare reports using Office 365 Administration Center, as requested.
· Document and/or test upgrades and new features as they become available in Office 365.
· Maintain and troubleshoot RightFax.
· Monitor ServiceNow incidents and requests to ensure they are worked on and closed in a timely manner.
· Work on the Office 365 project team in rolling out future phases, such as: SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Intune, and/or Azure Active Directory.
· Provide on-call coverage for the e-Collaboration team, handling issues that arise outside of regular business hours.
· Collect information on existing and new application features.
· Prepare documents for various technical and non-technical customers.
· Update documentation as needed.
Additional Comments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Computer related Associate’s degree.
· Demonstrated coursework in Computer Architecture (2 to 4 credit hours).
· Demonstrated coursework in Distributed Systems (2 to 4 credit hours).
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook (3 months to less than 1 year).
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory (3 months to less than 1 year).
