Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's or higher degree including or supplemented by 18 semester credit hours in economics; AND 6 semester credit hours in computer science, economics, econometrics, mathematics, operations research, research methods, and/or statistics

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As a Project Assistant in the Research & Evaluation unit, the incumbent will be relied upon to help facilitate the modernization of the data warehouse. The incumbent will:
• Provide support to the Unemployment Insurance System Modernization (UISM) project, including improving the data warehouse to structure data more consistently with the UISM system
• Assist in the development of federal reports, management reports and ad hoc requests
• Assist in querying and exporting data from Oracle databases using SQL, as well as importing and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
• Provide support to UI data sharing programs including secure transfer of data, review of draft data sharing agreements, estimation of hours worked on specific data exchanges and help in preparing billing information for Finance
• Assist with the preparation of estimates of federal allocations of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act monies to local workforce development agencies for planning purposes
Additional Comments This position will be temporary/hourly and will be filled as a traineeship.
