Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Six (6) years of experience in quality assurance and testing of large, complex projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience in quality assurance and testing of large, complex projects. A master’s degree in a related field may substitute for an additional year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in New York State/New York City government;
• Knowledge of health and human services policies and programs in New York State/New York City government.

Duties Description Under the direction of the IES Quality Assurance Lead, the Quality Analyst is responsible for quality assurance activities related to the IES program and project level work streams, including all testing activities and defect tracking. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate with IES Operations, Project Management, Business Analysis, Organizational Change Management and Training, and Technical Teams to facilitate all areas of quality assurance for the IES program;
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including subject matter experts, executive teams, managers, program directors, vendors, and end-users to ensure deliverables meet business needs;
• Evaluate project timelines and priorities;
• Establish schedules and estimates;
• Develop test plans, test cases, track defects and develop automated tests;
• Mange adherence to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools;
• Work with end users to assist with and coordinate user acceptance testing activities;
• Facilitate planning, scheduling, and coordination of performance and vulnerability testing activities;
• Adhere to internal controls, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the systems development life cycle;
• Provide status updates of all project activities to management including progress, issues, risks, mitigations, resolutions, successes and lessons learned;
• Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
