Salary RangeFrom $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Graphic Designer 2, Non-Competitive:
Bachelor’s degree in an art or design field such as art, drawing, painting, illustration, digital design, or interactive media and two years of experience;
or
an associate’s degree in the same fields and four years of experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders; proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
Duties Description The Graphic Designer 2, G-18 will conceptualize and design compelling graphics for educational and promotional purposes in print and electronic media. Consult with and advise clients to deliver effective, customized designs that satisfy client expectations, and comply with branding requirements.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide design ideas and independently design and deliver creative assets for high-visibility marketing and educational campaigns.
• Review work for accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and determine priorities to self-manage workflow and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, public affairs, and digital team members to foster an environment of innovative and creative design.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients that support the agency’s goals and initiatives.
• Oversee procurement of supplies, software, equipment, and services.
• Draft requests for proposals and participate in evaluating bids for creative products and services.
