Minimum Qualifications Requires a license to practice medicine in New York State, completion of one year post-graduate teaching and two years of medical experience; serves as advanced clinical practitioner; may supervise medical service staff for an assigned facility, program, or unit.

Duties Description This position is the facility Health Services Director; supervising all medical and dental staff responsible for the health care of all incarcerated individuals at the facility, coordinating quality improvement, directing health care clinics, ensures compliance with institution practice plans, present for on site direct care and available for off hours for consultation. Maintains relationship with community health care providers, reaching a common goal of incarcerated individuals health care and department needs.
