Minimum Qualifications Permanent transfer candidates: Current Department of Health (DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Health Program Administrator (G18); OR current NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a title eligible to transfer under Section 52.6, Section 70.1, or Section 70.4 of the Civil Service Law to a Health Program Administrator (G18), Health Program Administrator Trainee 1 (NS), or Health Program Administrator Trainee 2 (NS). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in program and contract management; ability to work with a diverse group of professionals; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments; some knowledge of federal and state regulations with regards to budget development; ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Duties Description The incumbent will be actively engaged in contract management and site development in the MARO Division of Nutrition WIC Program. Duties may include analyzing, tracking, and reporting on program activities and contract deliverables such as the Line-Item submissions and monthly vouchers using appropriate spreadsheets and databases and report problems or discrepancies to the appropriate Contract Manager; review and tack initial annual budget submissions for completeness, follow-up on discrepancies.; assist in annual voucher trace in office and at local agency sites; provide on-site site development technical assistance. Coordinate and establish budget, fiscal training and site development sessions.
