Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Valatie South is a 12-bed medical home. The LPN will provide hands on nursing care to our individuals with complicated medical issues.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• The LPN will function under the supervision of the RN and/or House Manager
• Ensures that all individuals receive medications and treatments required on that shift
• Scheduling and follow-up of medical appointments
• Provides assistance with enteral feeds, colostomy care, wound care etc.
• Provides guidance and assistance to all the staff assigned to this home
• Other duties as assigned
• May be asked to provide coverage
NOTE: You must have a valid driver’s license to apply as travel is a part of the duties involved in this position. This may include a state-owned vehicle, as available, or the employee’s own car. An employee who uses his/her own car will be reimbursed at current negotiated rates.
